Hi, I’m Sandra.
I am an animal lover and have had pets my whole life. I started MyPetReview.com to share my passion, experience, and knowledge of all kinds of animals and pets – from responsible ownership, training, and feeding right through to my thoughts on toys and other pet accessories.
I was always fascinated by animals growing up on a farm, and was lucky that my parents nurtured this passion. I seemed to have a knack for finding and bringing home injured or lost animals as a kid, and this is something that I never grew out of.
It might be a stretch but I would put it out there that I have, at some time or another, probably looked after almost every pet animal you can think of! Everything from Frogs to Birds, Fish, Turtles, Crabs and freshwater crayfish (yabbies!), Snakes and Lizards, Dogs, Cats, Hamsters, Mice, Rats and (native) bats, right through to Horses and livestock such as chickens, sheep, goats, pigs and cattle.
I have also volunteered at animal shelters, fostered animals, and of course adopted some of my fur babies.
Whilst I love all animals equally, I am particularly fond of and enjoy spending time with my horses and my cocker spaniels.
